In this playful workshop, kids will bring their imagination to life by crafting their very own pinch pot animals! Kids are welcome to bring photos of their pets to recreate for a more personal touch. On the first day, they’ll learn the basics of handbuilding — learning the pinch-pot method, creating fun features like tails, ears, and noses, and attaching them with the slip-and-score technique. During the second day, once their creatures take shape, they’ll add color and personality using underglaze. Supply fee includes clay and underglaze. IMPORTANT NOTE: Following completion of the class, each pottery piece requires approximately 1.5 weeks to dry thoroughly, after which it undergoes bisque firing, glazing, and a final firing in the kiln, resulting in an overall period of approximately 3–4 weeks before the piece is ready for collection. | |
